Comprehensive Telehealth Psychiatric Consultation
Dr. Welch will spend 60-90 minutes per session with you to explore past psychiatric and medical and social histories, current challenges, and discuss potential goals of treatment.

Follow-up Telehealth Session
A 45 minute session with utilization of psychotherapy, medication management, or both, depending upon your individualized treatment plan.

Medication Telehealth follow-up
A 20-30 minute session to assess medication(s) and discuss goals of medication therapy.
Dr. Welch is a private pay provider and does not accept insurance. If you are interested in submitting your invoices to insurance, a superbill can be generated. Please note that services are not guaranteed for reimbursement, and you should confer directly with your insurance carrier about your benefits.

Treatment fees are commensurate with Dr. Welch’s level of training and experience. Fees and cancellation charges will be outlined and discussed during consultations.

No. At present, Dr. Welch provides services via telehealth to clients in NY and NC only.
If you need urgent psychiatric care, are suicidal, have thoughts of self-harm or harming another, feel unsafe, are a danger to yourself or others, or for any emergencies, including but not limited to life-threatening situations, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room immediately.

If you live in NY or NC, and will be located within those states during treatment sessions, complete the form online and Poise Psychiatry will return contact if further clarification is needed, or as applicable, to discuss potential consultation for services.

A consultation does not in and of itself constitute a treatment plan or establishment of care. One to three evaluations may be utilized to determine further recommendations as a result of the comprehensive assessment.

Poise Psychiatry accepts all major credit cards. Payment must be made at time of service.

Dr. Welch welcomes clients 18 years of age and older experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relationship struggles.
